Parent Code of Conduct
Be positive. Never criticize.
Remember that these are children playing for the fun of the game.
In competition, someone always loses. If you do win, do it gracefully, not boastfully. If you lose, do not allow children to become negative. Applaud good plays by your team, as well as members of the opposing team.
Official’’s decisions must be considered final. Please remember that some of these officials are new to refereeing and need encouragement to continue developing their skills.
Parents who anger or degrade a player, coach or referee are subject to disciplinary action by the RYSC.
Parents are responsible for arranging safe transportation to and from practices and games.
Alert coaches of any player health concerns or absences (practices or games).
Your child’s coach will need all the support and help you can offer.
Please make yourself available and volunteer some time if you can.
Remember that coaches and executive are volunteers!
